Ingredients

  • For the Red Wine Vinaigrette:
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • For the Salad:
  • 2 cups Red Grapes halved
  • 2 cups Barley cooked
  • 3 cups Spinach
  • Pickled Red Onions

Instructions

  • To make the dressing, combine the vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup, pepper, salt and garlic powder in a jar and then set aside.
  • To make the salad, layer the spinach, barley, pickled onions and grapes on a serving plate.
  • Shake the dressing and then pour over the salad.
  • Give the salad a toss and then serve.
